What are your opening hours?
Hidden Hill Farm is only open during the listed event times. Please check our calendar to see our available times.
Do I need to make a reservation, or can I just show up?
Reservations are required. This ensures the safety and well-being of our visitors and our animals. Any visitors without a reservation will not be permitted entrance.
Do you offer group discounts or special rates for schools or parties?
Yes, we offer special rates for groups, school, and parties. Please contact us to discuss your needs, and we will be happy to provide more details.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards through our online reservation portal and through Stripe. Payments must be made at the time of purchase. Payments cannot be accepted at the farm at the time of your visit.
Can I book a private event or party at the farm?
Yes! We offer private events and party packages tailored to your needs. Booking for events and parties starts at $400. Please contact us to discuss your event, and we will help create a memorable experience for you and your guests.
Do I need to pay for my child? Does my baby need a reservation?
Hidden Hill Farm does not require a reservation/fee from newborns and pre-walking infants if they will be carried by an adult during the visit. Any infant, toddler, child, or adult directly engaging with the animals needs to have a reservation.

What should I wear and bring to my visit?
We recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. This is a working farm so please dress accordingly. We also recommend sunscreen, hats, and water bottles. Outside food is not permitted.
If you are participating in Goat Yoga or Mooitation classes, please also bring a yoga mat and a towel.
Are you open during all weather conditions?
For the safety of our animals, we do not permit visitors during severe weather such as storms or high heat.
Is the farm accessible for strollers and wheelchairs?
Yes, most areas of our farm are accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Are there restrooms or other facilities available for visitors?
A portable restroom is available for visitors. Picnic areas and shaded seating are also available.
Can I bring my dog/cat/pet?
For the safety and well-being of our animals, we kindly ask that you do not bring household pets, such as dogs or cats, to the farm. Our animals may perceive unfamiliar pets as predators, which can cause them stress and anxiety. Additionally, the farm environment is not safe for untrained pets, as they may accidentally get too close to large livestock, leading to potential harm. We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a calm and secure environment for all our animals.

How do I schedule visits with my adopted animal?

What does my adoption fee cover?
The adoption fee includes a certification of adoption that can be mailed or emailed to you, a monthly letter and photo with behind-the-scenes updates, fun facts, and silly stories, and free private visits with your adopted animal. Tier 1 includes three visits per 12-month period, tier 2 includes one visit per month per 12-month period, and tier 3 includes two visits per 12-month period. All visits are 60 minutes and need to be scheduled ahead of time to ensure availability. No more than four people are permitted per visit, and visitors can meet, feed, walk on a leash (if available), care, and cuddle with the adopted animal.
On our end, your adoption fee plays a vital role in supporting the well-being of our animals. The fee goes directly toward covering the costs of food, care, medical needs, and other essential expenses to ensure a happy and healthy life for your adopted animal and all the other animals on the farm. It helps us provide nutritious meals, comfortable living environments, regular veterinary check-ups, and any special care they might need. Your support also contributes to the overall upkeep of the farm, allowing us to continue offering a safe and loving home for all our animals. Thank you for making a difference!
Can I switch animals mid-year?
Although we try to accommodate everyone’s requests and preferences, we cannot guarantee availability of any animal. If you have specific questions about switching animals, please contact us directly.
What if I want to “adopt” an animal that is not listed as an option?
We understand that sometimes visitors form special bonds with certain animals on the farm, and we always want to honor those connections! If you’re interested in “adopting” an animal that isn’t listed as an option, please let us know. We will do our best to accommodate your preference, but please keep in mind that we can’t always guarantee availability. Our primary concern is the well-being of our animals, and we aim to find the best possible fit for both them and their new supporters. Feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to discuss any possibilities with you!
What happens at the end of the purchase year?
At the end of your purchase year, you can choose to renew your adoption for the same animal, ensuring you continue to receive updates and exclusive content about your furry or feathered friend. Alternatively, you can choose to adopt a different animal if you’d like to experience a new bond and learn about another member of our farm family. Who can volunteer at Hidden Hill Farm?
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult at all times. We welcome individuals, families, and groups who are passionate about animals and farm life.Do I need experience to volunteer?
No prior experience is necessary. We provide a brief orientation for first-time volunteers, and our team will guide you through your tasks to ensure you're comfortable and safe.What tasks will I be doing as a volunteer?
Volunteers help with a variety of farm tasks, including feeding animals, cleaning stalls, organizing supplies, assisting with seasonal projects, and general maintenance. Specific tasks will be assigned based on the farm’s needs, your interests, and your abilities.How do I sign up to volunteer?

Absolutely! We are happy to verify and sign off on any community service hours required for school, work, or other programs. Just let us know in advance.What happens if there is bad weather?
Farm work often continues in light rain or cooler weather, but in the event of severe weather, we may reschedule volunteer shifts for safety reasons. We’ll notify you of any changes. -
