Welcome to the adopt-an-animal program at Hidden Hill Farm. By participating in the program, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Reservation and Admission

• All visitors must make reservations in advance through our website. Walk-ins are strictly prohibited.

• Visitors must arrive at the scheduled time. Due to limited parking and staffing, we cannot accommodate early or late arrivals. Visitors arriving significantly before or after their scheduled time may be denied entry.

2. Behavior and Conduct

• Visitors must behave respectfully towards staff, other visitors, and animals at all times.

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while on the farm.

• No aggressive behavior, rough play, or loud noises around the animals.

• Visitors are prohibited from feeding or handling animals unless instructed by farm staff.

3. Animal Interaction

• While we encourage interaction with certain animals, visitors must follow all guidelines provided by farm staff to ensure their own safety and the safety of the animals.

• Do not enter animal enclosures unless invited by a staff member.

• The farm reserves the right to restrict access to certain areas or animals based on conditions or staff discretion.

4. Safety and Liability

• Visitors enter the farm at their own risk. Hidden Hill Farm is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during your visit.

• Appropriate footwear (closed-toe shoes) is required for all visitors. We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Visitors are encouraged to dress appropriately for a working farm.

• Visitors must follow all posted signs and instructions from staff to ensure safety.

• Smoking, drug use, and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited on the farm premises.

5. Parking

• Parking is limited and available only during your scheduled visit time. Visitors are asked not to arrive more than 10 minutes before their scheduled time, as staff and parking spaces may not be available.

6. Photography and Media

• Visitors are welcome to take personal photos during their visit, but professional photography sessions must be arranged in advance with farm management.

• By visiting the farm, you agree that Hidden Hill Farm may take photos or videos during your visit and use them for promotional purposes, unless otherwise notified in writing.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit to qualify for rescheduling or a refund.

• No refunds or rescheduling will be offered for late arrivals or no-shows.

8. Weather Policy

• The farm is open rain or shine, but certain activities may be limited in extreme weather conditions.

• In the event of severe weather, Hidden Hill Farm reserves the right to close for the day. In such cases, visitors will be contacted to reschedule or receive a refund.

9. Farm Rules and Guidelines

• Visitors are expected to respect the farm’s rules and guidelines, including animal interaction protocols, safety measures, and staff directions.

• Failure to comply with these terms may result in removal from the premises without a refund.

10. Health and Safety Precautions

• Visitors who are feeling unwell or have recently been exposed to any contagious illness are asked to reschedule their visit.

• The farm adheres to health and safety guidelines to protect both visitors and staff. Visitors are expected to comply with any current health protocols in place during their visit.

 11. Adopt-An-Animal Program

• Adopting an animal through our program allows you to receive special content about your chosen animal, including photos, videos, updates, and stories about their life on the farm. Please note that this is a symbolic adoption, and ownership of the animal remains with Hidden Hill Farm.

• Each adoption is valid for one year from the date of purchase. At the end of the adoption term, you will have the option to renew your adoption for another year or choose to adopt a different animal. We will send you a reminder notification as the end of your adoption year approaches.

• We strive to accommodate specific animal adoption requests but cannot guarantee the availability of any animal. If an animal you wish to adopt is not available, we will work with you to find another suitable option.

• You may renew your adoption annually, subject to the availability of the animal. If you wish to adopt a different animal at the end of your adoption term, please contact us before your current adoption expires. All changes are subject to availability and approval by Hidden Hill Farm.

• All animals remain under the care and ownership of Hidden Hill Farm. We are committed to providing the highest level of care for all our animals and reserve the right to make any decisions regarding their well-being, health, and placement.

• Your personal information will be collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

• Hidden Hill Farm reserves the right to terminate any adoption at any time if it is deemed in the best interest of the animal or the farm. If an adoption is terminated, we will offer a pro-rated refund for the remaining term or provide the option to choose a different animal.

• We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued participation in the Adopt-an-Animal program constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.

12. Liability and Acknowledgment of Risk

• Visitors acknowledge that visiting a working farm involves certain risks, including, but not limited to, injury from animals or equipment.

• Visitors agree to release Hidden Hill Farm and its staff from any liability for injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur while visiting.

13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

• Hidden Hill Farm reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via website and social media, and continued participation in the program will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
